Lake Oconee Community
While Lake Oconee has been around since 1979, the Lake Oconee community has only recently established itself. Not long ago, Lake Oconee Parkway (Hwy 44) was nothing more than a link between Eatonton and Greensboro. Today it is a thriving community with schools, upscale restaurants, coffee shops, renowned golf courses, plus services and amenities not typically found outside of major cities.
